This weekend course will guide you in constructing and developing a garment or dress using only a simple variation of fabric. Throughout the weekend we will discuss and discover the nature and fluidity of the student’s chosen fabric and utilise it meet its utmost potential, as a piece in a stunning and unique collection.

By the end of the course, the students will learn how to utilise their chosen pattern pieces in both traditional and innovative techniques. Thus, manipulating their form and function, to create an exceptional piece of apparel.

The Instructor

Emily Howse is a high end pattern cutter, seamstress and designer with a background in demi-couture. Having trained at Boudicca under Zowie Broach she has now established herself within the industry in London working for brands such as Burberry and boutique fashion houses. She possesses a wealth of knowledge to be shared throughout her 10-year career with garments.
